Vertigo’s Midnight Mass to be adapted for TV

Another day, another comic book adaptation. I’m not complaining though as it’s great to see the medium being taking seriously.
Midnight Mass, a graphic novel about the supernatural adventures of a husband and wife crime solving team has been picked up by NBC.
Welcome to MIDNIGHT, MASS – where vampires, ghosts, demons, and psychotic magicians are just business as usual for Adam & Julia Kadmons. But now Adam and Julia are forced to go from being mere paranormal investigators to serving as delicate gatekeepers between our world and the supernatural world – between the old gods and monsters and the new.
I have to admit that before I saw this news I’d never heard of the comic but I will be sure to check it out as I like the idea.
Scooby Doo meets Hart to Hart via the X Files perhaps?
