Two Street Fighter vs Tekken games announced

Rival fighting game producers Yoshinori Ono (Capcom) and Katsuhiro Harada (Namco Bandai) took to the stage at Comic Con this weekend to announce not one, but TWO Street Fighter vs Tekken games; Street Fighter X Tekken and Tekken X Street Fighter.
Street Fighter X Tekken is headed to 360 and PS3, and being developed by Team Street Fighter, Capcom, using the same tech from Street Fighter IV. So you’ll see Tekken characters such as Kazuya Mishima and Nina Williams re-imagined for the SFIV universe, appearing in full 3D and fighting on a 2D plane.
They’ll keep their signature moves in the transition, so expect to see familiar grapple and takedown techniques and they match up to the Yoga flames and hyper uppercuts of the SF series.
The usual versus and training missions will be present, along with a “more in-depth and enjoyable” Tag Team Combat mode “where players select two fighters to deliver knockout assist attacks and special combos”.
First screenshots and a trailer of that are below.
The other game, Tekken X Street Fighter, is in development and Namco Bandai, and although the announcement was far less revealing, it’s thought to play like a Tekken game in full 3D.
Capcom man Yoshinori Ono said of the collaborations: “This is history we’re making. Two fighting games that have rivalled each other are finally standing on the same stage. This isn’t just a showdown between Tekken and Street Fighter, but a decisive battle for Capcom and Namco Bandai Games. So I’m going to give it my all.”
