ADVERT BREAK: SuperShuttle + Chuck = Discount for SDCC!
Posted by Sharlene Mousfar on May 11, 2011
For those of you who are fans of the almost-always-on-the-bubble Chuck, you likely already know that our favorite geek is once again in danger of going off to the great Buy More in the sky. But never fear! Chucksters are a resourceful bunch and with the success of past campaigns like Finale and a Footlong (created by Wendy Farrington), which had the participation of series star Zachary Levi, fans have once again risen to the challenge with a new Twitter campaign.
On Monday nights (the day that Chuck airs in the US), tweets are sent to the advertisers that have bought airtime during the show with the hashtag #NotANielsenFamily in an effort to let them know that there are more than just Nielsen families watching. And it’s been working!
In a recent episode “Chuck vs. The Wedding Planner”, a conwoman on the run takes a SuperShuttle to try and get away from the gang. She failed to do so but what that turned into was SuperShuttle giving Chuck fans a 10% discount through the end of July!
So if you’re headed to San Diego Comic Con this year, here’s how to take advantage of the offer:
Visit SuperShuttle’s website to book your shuttle (you will also find iPhone and Android apps for those fans who are always on the go). When booking your trip simply type CHUCK into the discount code box and your discount should be automatically applied. This offer is valid in all SuperShuttle locations throughout the US (including San Diego!). It can be used for any shared ride or ExecuCare private sedan service.
Special thanks goes out to Wendy Farrington (@SerendipityWAF) for faciliating the offer with SuperShuttle!
