10 Teasers from Merlin Series 4, Ep 12 “The Sword in the Stone” (Pt 1)

The tagline for this series of Merlin has been “The darkest hour is just before the dawn.” Truer words have never been spoken as the first part of the series 4 finale is filled with betrayal and despair for our heroes but we all know what’s coming, or do we?
With Morgana at the head of a vast Southron army, a deadly net is closing in around Camelot, as the drama continues. When the sorceress strikes, the ferocity of her attack forces everyone to run for their lives – even Arthur. But Morgana won’t let him escape that easily. And so begins a chilling hunt.
Behind the cut are 10 teasers for the episode and make sure to tune into BBC 1 at 8:10PM on Saturday, December 17th!
- “Easy now, we don’t want anymore holes in that belt!”
- Agravaine’s deception is discovered by *****, who is later tortured.
- “Been hiding in the broom cupboard as usual Merlin?”
- Merlin is forced to leave someone close to him behind.
- “You look like a turniphead!”
- “I probably should learn to think before I speak, shouldn’t I?”
- Morgana likes her snakes.
- Arthur hugs it out with a new special friend.
- “That doesn’t explain why I look like a ******* *****!”

Not as small as you’d like to think. Arthur/Gwen scenes are the ones during which I usually go to take some snacks.

Says who? Too disappointed with writers keep ruining her character and her innocence hasn’t been proven. Arthur still thinks she’s guilty!

Melissa: Larger than you think. No offence to Arwen shippers but I was all for Mithian/Arthur. I can’t wait to see Hunith again though!! Hope the knights get a good chunk of plotline too

Melissa: It is larger actually, i normal skip the gwen and arthur moments, but if some people enjoy them thats fine. Can’t wait to see Hunith again!

Gwen is a sweet and likeable girl, but in my opinion she is miscast as Guinevere. As have a little chemistry with Arthur and well.. I know it’s harsh., but she is plain quite boring character.
Mithian would make a much better Guinevere. Mithian and Arthur there was a full package spark, great chemistry and challenge..
