New Trailer for Dr Who Video Game ‘The Eternity Clock’
Posted by geeksyndicate on February 23, 2012
Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will launch globally on PS3 and PS Vita, via the PlayStation Network, in March 2012 with a PC version due shortly after.
It will be the first PlayStation®Vita game to utilize the cutting-edge Unreal Engine toolset, which also fuels the PlayStation®3 and PC versions of the game.
I love the idea of a Dr Who video game as I think there’s a hell of a lot you can do with the character and the Who universe. The trailer, however, left me a little cold and hoping theres more to the game than just a standard two player platform game. At the moment it feels like the wrong choice of gameplay type for the good Doctor. Perhaps it could just be that the trailer is a bit poor and doesn’t do a great job in selling the game’s good points. The first trailer I saw for this game was a lot better.
I just hope the finished game proves me wrong.
What do you guys think? Is this the right game type for Doctor Who?
