Most people should be aware by now of Iron Sky which is about Nazi’s living on the moon for 60 years. Now the kind folks behind the film have released the first four minutes of the film and it just looks so much fun.

The film comes out in April.

In 1945, at the end of World War II, German top scientists under the control of Hans Kammler make a breakthrough in anti-gravity research. They send two SS submarines to the Antarctic where they have established a secret base for studying space travel technology. From there, Nazi spaceships are sent to the “dark side” of the Moon where they establish the military base “Schwarze Sonne” (“Black Sun”). Over the years, the base becomes a permanent home for Nazis who have escaped the Earth, where they build a powerful fleet of war spaceships, also studying Earth technology in the process, and advancing the Nazi weapon technology, preparing themselves for war.
