The Dark Knight Rises Tie-in Novel is Coming

Because everyone loves a tie-in novel, Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ film gets the official tie-in novel treatment.
Author Greg Cox will be penning the tie-in novel. Greg Cox has previously handled official novelizations of DC Comics’ major storylines Infinite Crisis, 52 and Final Crisis. He has also written numerous bestselling adaptations and original novels for the Star Trek, Underworld, CSI, and Terminator franchises. The later two have earned him Scribe Awards in 2009 and 2010.
Titan Books will handle the release of the film adaptation to book stores and websites near you.
On the acquisition of the publishing rights for the novelization Titan Publisher Nick Landau said, “Batman is one of the most iconic characters of popular culture. We’re tremendously excited to work with Warner Bros. on the novelization of ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ especially since it is the culmination of everything Christopher Nolan has done with his amazing trilogy.”
‘The Dark Knight Rises’ novelisation will be released worldwide on the same day as the film’s theatrical release on July 24th 2012.
