First gameplay trailer of Marvel Heroes MMO game

We’ve had City of Heroes, DC Universe Online and now Marvel has teamed up with Gazillion and Secret Identity Studios create its own MMO game Marvel Heroes. According to Marvel, Marvel Heroes combines action role-playing games with the MMO genre.Unlike DC Universe Online players will be able to play as classic Marvel heroes such as Iron Man, Hulk, Captain American and Thor.
David Brevik, President of Gazillion Entertainment and creator of the “Diablo” and “Diablo II” says, “I’ve been a big Marvel fan for all of my life.’Marvel Heroes’ represents the combination of Marvel IP with all of the knowledge and experience I gained creating ‘Diablo.’ It is a dream come true. I’m excited to unveil ‘Marvel Heroes’ and share this revolutionary MMO with both gamers and Marvel fans.”
“‘Marvel Heroes’ is the pinnacle of Super Hero gaming,” states TQ Jefferson, Vice President of Games at Marvel. “For fans to actually become their favourite heroes in an original storyline, explore iconic Marvel landscapes and combat some of the most dangerous villains in a shared experience is unbelievably compelling.”
No release date or gaming systems for the new game has been given.

I think this is going to turn out well, DC Universe has ended up as not too bad a title so this should do the same. The writing pedigree is good on this one and the buzz around the Avengers at the moment is going to put a lot of pressure on Gazillion to make this good. Heard its going to be a free to play title on PC, fingers crossed!

The video trailer didn’t show much of anything but from what was shown the game has potential. Hopefully, it won’t have multiple copies of spider-man running around like what they did in Super Hero Squad Online. LOL

I saw the trailer of Marvel Heroes. The game is cool and pretty. Hope more fan favorites are added in. Contra Guys being in it is hard.
