If ever you desired the opportunity to slay countless werewolves, vampires and zombies as Van Helsing’s son, then this is the game for you.
Check out this new trailer for The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, showcasing gameplay of the brand new RPG adventure featuring the son of the famed monster slayer.
The footage shown is a pre-alpha build of the game, but it looks like great fun so far as you’re able to fight hordes of creatures with engaging gameplay.
Of course, similarities between this and Diablo can be made, but developer Neocore Games want to put their own theatrical, humourous and clichéd approach towards RPG gaming. As Van Helsing’s son, you’ll be able to employ the use of guns, swords and good old fashioned magic against your enemies.
The gothic aesthetic that the game employs follows many of the dungeon-like levels throughout, as players will be able to traverse across city outskirts, monster lairs and of course, haunted woods. There’s no specific release date yet, but expect The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing to be available to play on PC and XBLA towards the end of the year.
