SDCC 2012: Check Out Iron Man’s New Armor

With every new Iron Man film we are treated to a new version of his armour. This was always happening in the comics every few years or so. With the story based around the Extremis arc I know what is coming. At SDCC Marvel showed off the latest version of Stark’s suit. No idea if this is just a variant like the suitcase armour or his next full evolution but for me it is a bit yucky. As Stark said throw some hotrod red in there….. PLEASE. Iron Man 3 comes out next year and stars Robert Downey Jr., Ben Kingsley, Gweneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce and Rebecca Hall.

The more I look at it the more I like it. It looks like the submarine variant from the old 90s cartoon and wasn’t it that same cartoon that inspired jon favreau to use the suitcase armour in Iron Man 2?
