Film 4 FrightFest’s “Sinister” Coming Soon

From the producer of Insidious and Paranormal Activity comes a supremely creepy horror film full of “dread, shocking images and almost unbearable tension.” This one is pretty much guaranteed to give audiences nightmares.

Sinister tells the story of a true-crime novelist who, via found footage, realises how and why a family was murdered in his new home, a discovery that puts him and his entire family in the path of a deadly supernatural entity.
Featuring the talented Ethan Hawke, and directed by Scott Derrickson (Hellraiser: Inferno) the film is pitched as 8MM meets The Shining. Premiering this past Sunday at 2012′s Film4 FrightFest, it is most definitely set to become “one of the most memorable horror films of the year.” (Dread Central)
