Stan Lee Excelsior Awards Ceremony 2012 Gallery Online

As I’ve written about before the Stan Lee Excelsior Awards is a fantastic way to encourage children to read via the medium of comics. It is an annual awards ceremony devoted to comics, graphic novels and manga, the difference being the voters are children across the country.
Today they have released images of this years awards ceremony and I can honestly say I wish I could have gone. To see so many students reading comics and enjoying it, is a joy.
The website has been very careful not to name the students, protecting them according to the standard safeguarding principles that all schools uphold. Check out all the images here
As I’ve said before I will be letting the English department know about this scheme as I think every school should be involved.
