Steam Greenlight shows us democracy at work with the world of indie gaming.
Have you ever felt like a game is deserving of better recognition but you felt powerless to get the word out? Well Valve Corporation’s Steam store has introduced a new community feature that might be the answer and gives less well-known games a better chance.
If you have steam on your computer, or you have an account on the Steam website you can participate in the voting. Not every game in Greenlight is an indie project, but the majority of them are. This is not only useful for the indie lover but also the indie curious who want to take a look at several indie games all in one place instead of searching the internet wilderness, hoping you’ll encounter an interesting title.
