The movie that was filmed using real Navy SEALs and real weapons was a commercial hit at the box office despite dividing audiences. There is no doubt that it was great action movie that delivered for those who like this sort of thing.
Well the good news is that it is coming back but this time on the small screen.

Released in February, Act of Valor stars Roselyn Sanchez, Nestor Serrano, Emilio Rivera and a team of U.S. Navy SEALs and Navy Special Warfare Combatant Crewmen on a mission to recover a kidnapped CIA agent. Released in February, it has grossed more than $80 million worldwide, was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for best action film and spawned a soundtrack that reached No. 7 on the Top 100 albums chart and No. 1 on the country album chart.

“I was blown away by the realism and authenticity of Act of Valor. We’re thrilled to work with the Bandito Brothers to make something more visceral than any other show on television,” RelativityREAL CEO Tom Forman said.
Added Bandito Brothers in a statement: “We’re excited to be reuniting with Relativity again in order to develop this series and tell stories about real acts of valor in a unique and engaging way.”
