Eurogamer Announces Valve Developer Session & F1 games

With 2 weeks to go until this years Eurogamer Expo, more developer sessions and games on playable on the show floor are still being announced. in the latest announced it has been confirmed that there will be a Valve developer session and Codemasters will be bring playable versions of their Formula One driving series.
Valve writer Chet Faliszek will be presenting a developer session on two days of this year’s show. The session, entitled “How to give yourself a job in the game industry”, will take place at midday on Friday 28th September and at 5pm on Sunday 30th September, giving attendees two opportunities to catch up with one of the world’s top developers.
During the sessions, Chet Faliszek, writer at Valve Software, will answer one of most frequently asked questions by the community – how do I get a job making games? This talk will cover the many options and paths that are currently available and is aimed at not just hopeful professionals, but the entire gaming community. No experience necessary.
“It’s always a pleasure to have Valve at the Eurogamer Expo, so we’re delighted Chet’s joining us again this year,” said Eurogamer’s Tom Bramwell. “Valve is doing fascinating things and I wouldn’t miss this session for the world.”
It was all so announced that F1 Race Stars and F1 2012™ from Codemasters will both be playable at this year’s event. Furthermore, Codemasters will be bringing a real-life Sahara Force India FORMULA ONE™ car to the show floor for attendees to check out. “Eurogamer probably boasts the highest concentration of FORMULA ONE fanboys at any gaming website, so to say we’re excited about having all this amazing F1 stuff on the show floor is a massive understatement,” said Eurogamer’s Tom Bramwell.
As previously announced, Codemasters is also bringing upcoming racing title GRID 2 to the show floor, while the game’s developers will be on the developer sessions stage at 3.30pm on Saturday 29th September.
