Sony Releasing Blue and Red PS3 Editions

Sony is to release two new colour editions of the PS3 console in the UK. The new Garnet Red and Azurite Blue editions both come with a 500GB hard drive and include two Dualshock 3 controllers. Both SKUs are due for release on 25th February and will be priced along the same lines as the standard single-controller 500GB SKU which retails at around £229.

Seriously? Why do they keep releasing these ‘special edition’ PS3′s when the PS4 is right around the corner? Well, no one knows for sure when the PS4 is going to be released but Sony is probably going to announce it on E3 this year. This is only going to upset their customers.
