Cardiff Indie Comic Expo 2017 Reveals its Line Up

I love a good con…not a Hustle meets Ocean 11 con (although how cool would be that?) but a good old fashioned comic con.

On Saturday 8th July the sixth Cardiff Independent Comic Expo, promising family friendly, not for profit fun will be held at Cardiff Masonic Hall.

We reveal what attendees can expect from this year's Cardiff Indie Comic Expo logo

Punters can expect over ninety exhibitor tables, a retro-gaming zone (oooh can you say Pac man?), a kids creativity area, and a full programme of events (talks, live art events, and panel discussions on Indie press, working in the Comics and Gaming industries, creativity and more), there’s something for everyone!

There’s also a whole host of guests who will be in attendance..hang on people we’re are going to the quotesphere for more info on the guests and pricing.

Special Guests include artists who began in the indie scene : Jon Davis-Hunt (Clean Room and The Wild Storm for Vertigo) and Rufus Dayglo (Tank Girl and 2000AD). They are joined by 2000AD artists: Ben Willsher, Mike Collins, David Roach, Dylan Teague, Patrick Goddard, (and joining CICE for the first time) Lee Carter and Henry Flint, along with Marvel UK artist Simon Williams, and hugely successful independent illustrators Godmachine and Simon Gurr.

More exceptional creators complete our Guest line up: Sarah Graley (Our Super Adventure and Kim Reaper) and The Etherington Brothers (Long Gone Don, Monkey Nuts and Von Doogan for DFC / The Phoenix).

They are joined by superbly talented indie creators including: Anastasia Catris, The Pride, Sarah Millman, Attic Studios, Vince Hunt, Big Punch Studios and many more…

Event Producer, Iz McAuliffe, is delighted to bring back CICE:-
“ I’m delighted to have the opportunity once again to showcase the rich pool of talent we have in the UK with our small press creators. It’s crucial that the small press and indie comics community continue to have a space where their exceptional work can be showcased – all of our Guests started out on the indie scene, so I hope that CICE will also play a small role in helping create the next generation of comic book stars .
After co-producing CICE with Mike Allwood for the last 5 years, I’m excited and proud to be taking the show forward as a solo venture, for many years to come”.

The show is suitable for all ages, families are welcome, as are family friendly cosplayers 

Tickets are available online from our official website priced at £5.50 (children under 12 go free with a ticket holding adult) until ticket sales close on 1st July. There will be a small number of tickets available on the door at £6.50.
