James Lovegrove and Mark Chadbourn coming to Forbidden Planet

Forbidden Planet is pleased to announce a signing by James Lovegrove and Mark Chadbourn. They will be signing The Age of Ra and Lord of Silence at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London, WC2H 8JR, on Thursday 9th July 6 – 7pm.

A prolific writer of numerous novels, novellas, short stories and pieces of journalism, James Lovegrove regularly reviews fictions for the Financial Times. He’s been writing since the age of 22 and lives in Eastbourne with his family and his toothless cat, Ozzy. The Age of Ra is a science fiction work exploring the themes of freedom, oppression, war and love – and one soldier’s effort to throw off the divine oppression of the ancient Egyptian Gods.

British Fantasy Award winner Mark Chadbourn is the author of fourteen novels and one non-fiction book. He’s been a journalist, an engineer’s mate and a rock band manager – he now lives in a forest in the Midlands and screenwrites for the BBC. In Lord of Silence, a lost memory and a life-draining vampire jewel that demands life torment Vidar, a character who must solve a three-thousand year old mystery and unlock the horrors of his own past.

Forbidden Planet is the largest store of its kind in the world.
