Doug will be signing Spine Chillers goodies including the eagerly awaited Tell Tale Heart movie, and the first two volumes of the classic horror audio books.

We’ll once again be teaming up with Berserker Comics from Belfast who will be there supporting their great range of comics by some of the best names in the business. Guests from their comics confirmed so far include Simon Bisley and Glenn Fabry.

The guys also let us now a few of the other projects that have in the pipeline.

Doug Bradley’s Spine Volume 2 is released.

Available from Friday to download from audible.com, and from our shop on CD in two weeks, volume 2 contains over two hours of classic horror. Featured are Edgar Allen Poe’s story of love and death ‘The Oval Portrait’, HP Lovecraft’s tale of madness and evil ‘The Tomb’, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s tale of immortal Egyptian priest’s deadly duel across the millennia ‘The Ring of Thoth’, and Charles Dickens’ mate and collaborator Wilkie Coliins’ tale of nightmares and murders ‘The Dream Woman’.
All read by the man himself Doug Bradley, with evocative music and sound design by Alistair lock.

‘The Spine Chillers’ written and drawn by Ben Clark.

A newly weekly comic strip starts  on the Renegade website. ‘The Spine Chillers’ relates the little known story about the time the worlds greatest writers shared a small boarding house to create some of the most loved horror stories of all time.

Small press comic genius Ben Clark is the creative talent behind the strip and will be delivering a freshly drawn adventure each Friday.

Marvel at HP Lovecraft’s inspiration for Cthulu, gasp as Ambrose Bierce struggles under the weight of his own creative output, and marvel as Edgar Allan Poe and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle mud wrestle to determine once and for all who is the better horror writer.

Just One Man

Something slightly different starts this week too, ‘Just One Man’ is a fortnightly column written by a well known American writer who needs to get a few things off his chest. Think of his column as a rant about what ever has made him angry that week.
The idea started over a drink in a bar and fits in nicely with some of the fiction projects we’ll be unveiling over the next few years.

The writer has asked to remain anonymous to avoid running his relationship with his publisher so we’ve created an alter ego for him, ‘Just One Man’, with Dan Woods drawing the images for the column and the presentation being more like a comic than a newspaper. There’ll also be the ability to leave comments and hopefully get people talking about some of the issues he raises.
