THE STORY:
Steve Rogers, Tony Stark and Thor have traveled to a mysterious dimension of the broken Nine Realms and have to fight their way to one anothers side or they will never make it back home. This vital chapter will impact the lives of all of the characters and resonate in the pages of Thor for years to come!

**Spoilers**

Last issue: After the Siege of Asgard Thor, Steve Rogers and Tony Stark were sucked in to the nine realms of Asgard. Once there they awoke separated and lost. Steve got into some trouble in a bar, Thor ran into The Enchantress and Tony was taken by some troll creatures!

This Issue:  Thor fights The Enchantress! Steve Rogers gets some lip action from a local girl! And Tony is tortured by a dragon/monster thing.

It is explained that the nine realms have collapsed into one another and darkness has spread across the land, it’s up to the Big Three to solve the problem and bring peace back to this Dimension.

At the end of the issue it is revealed Hela (The Asgardian Devil and daughter of Loki) is behind the Darkness that is affecting the Nine Realms!

**End of Spoilers**

The Good Stuff!

This book is the best Avengers book currently running. Everything is excellent. The Art is top notch but what else would you expect from Alan Davis. He really does capture the best side of the Big three avengers and his creatures he populates the Nine Realms with are all excellent!

The Writing is great! Bendis somehow manages to capture the classic Thor, Cap and Stark and yet these are still the current versions of those characters. His Tony Stark is exceptionally great, this is definitely the Post Dark Reign Stark. He is definitely a damaged human being after all the crap he’s been through.

The Cover Art is BEAUTIFUL!

The Bad Stuff

I only have 2 complaints about the story! **Slight Spoilers**

  1. What the hell is Steve doing kissing another woman when he is supposed to be in love with Sharron Carter. Not exactly the Steve we know.
  2. There is a discrepancy between this story and the current Thor arc which I hope will be cleared up by the end of the mini series

Conclusion

So in closing this is a definite 4.5 stars out of 5, it has flaws but they are not enough to take away from the great art and the Awesome classic avengers feel
