One Man Star Wars Trilogy 10th Anniversary Tour

One Man Star Wars Trilogy goes on a UK tour to celebrate its tenth Anniversary!

2016 has been a big year for Star Wars fans; we got to ride out the end of 2015 with the return of the Star Wars franchise to the big screen with The Force Awakens, followed this year by the release of Trailers for Rogue One and more information coming out about other future Star Wars films like the Young Han Solo adventure. We also had the Star Wars Celebration held in London in July where attendees were thrilled with surprise after surprise at the weekend long event.

The Empire doesn’t see to appreciate the humour of the show

2016 has also been a big year for performer Charles Ross as he goes on tour to celebrate the tenth anniversary of his one man show One Man Star Wars Trilogy. The UK tour started earlier this month and the dates can be found below. Canadian Charles Ross has come straight from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to start the tour of his acclaimed comedy show where he plays all the characters, sings the music, flies all the ships and fights all the battles we’ve come to love from the original three Star Wars films – all in one hour!

Charles Ross shows us his saber skills

The One Man Star Wars Trilogy, written and performed by Ross – Directed by TJ Dawe, started life as a comedy sketch that soon took the world by storm after it was debuted in the Toronto Fringe back in 2002. The success of the sketch earned Ross appearances on The Today Show, Late Night with Conan O’Brain and off Broad way runs in New York – this all lead to an official licensing deal with LucasFilm Ltd.

On this side of the pond Ross found further acclaim after a sold out Edinburgh Fringe run in 2006 which went on to become a tour around Europe and a West End run at the Garrick Theatre. Ross has since been a very busy little Stormtrooper and has performed all around the world, performing the show more than 4,000 times in 500 cities across four continents (although no word yet on if he has been asked to perform for the Imperial Troops on the Death Star)

Make sure you check the tour dates to see when One Man Star Wars Trilogy is coming to a venue near you and be sure to catch this hilarious homage to one of the most famous trilogies ever made!
