Ever wanted to own Props, costumes, production artwork, concept drawings, model spaceships or set décor from the Star Trek TV shows and films? If you answered yes (and why wouldn’t you?) The CBS/Propworx Star Trek Prop and Costume Auction being held on  8th August my geeky friend is worth checking out.

Some of the items up for auction include 100 pieces of original concept art from Star Trek:The Original Series, Sulu’s Tunic from Star Trek: TOS, a complete set of furniture from Enterprise D (I got the perfect spot in my house for the captain’s chair) and pointed ear appliances worn by Leonard Nimoy as Spock.

If you want a complete list of what’s on offer then here’s a PDF Version of the catalog. I’ve had a skim through the catalog and seriously if you’re even a passing Star Trek fan it’s worth taking a look  as there is some seriously cool Star Trek stuff in there.

Hopefully not everything will go for a fortune in the auction and there may be a chance for you to get hold of a little piece of Star Trek to proudly display in your geek abode.

Check out the press release below and head over to the Auction website http://startrek.propworx.com/ for more info.

Note: I forgot to mention that you will be able to follow the Auction LIVE online and will be able to bid on items.
