An Interactive Horror Film Powered by Social Media Reveals Itself

So what do you get when you take some A-List talent, social media and the ability to interact with the actors in real time, to change the plot?

This is a completely new genre of Hollywood-class entertainment where the audience can play as much of a role as the A-list talent and actors. Using social media you can interact with characters in real time, affect the plot, and possibly earn a featured cameo alongside Emmy Rossum in the final film.

It’s the first of its kind, but it won’t be the last.

And here’s a behind the scenes look at the film.

The plan is for people to subscribe to the film via Facebook, YouTube and Twitter and keep up as the plot unfolds in real time.

I have no idea who this will work or even if they will pull this off but I think the idea is interesting enough to take part in. Is this a glimpse of the future of film where the auidence can affect the outcome? I doubt it but it’s still  something to stew on.
