Forget the Film, Watch the Titles Presents “Copelia”

This is a very cool website for film fans and also people who love design as they are dedicated to title design and have some amazing stuff on there. Check out their major feature about “Copelia” an amazing indie short made in-house by a small motion design studio in London called Momoco.

You’ve got to give it up for MOMOCO. This small London studio did what many title designers only dream of – they made their own film. COPELIA is a short, intelligent sci-fi love story that features some of the most hallucinogenic futurescapes we’ve ever seen. A true Renaissance Man, designer Nic Benns wrote, directed, edited, composed the score (under his Niji moniker), and did most of the digital effects and sound design for Copelia. His creative partner Miki Kato co-produced. Watch the Titles premieres the main title and we picked designer Nic Benns’ brain about his pet project, as he shares some of Momoco’s amazing process. A Watch the Titles exclusive.
