Johnny Depp returns to his iconic role of Captain Jack Sparrow in an action-packed tale of truth, betrayal, youth and demise.  When Jack crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), he’s not sure if it’s love—or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. Okay, so I was prepared to “sniff” at ANOTHER POTC, especially without Will and Elizabeth, but I stand corrected — I’m excited for this one. Penelope Cruz looks like an excellent foil for Jack (and at last he gets a real love interest I’m guessing). I’d probably watch Geoffrey Rush read the phone book with sarcasm as well so that helps.

I’m in. Thanks for the trailer!
