Aliens Invade Manchester: Namco and THQ to Show Sci-Fi Shooters at Manchester Comic Con

There’ll be alien-killing carnage a-plenty at Manchester Central later this month as Namco and THQ confirm that they will be joining Nintendo in previewing their hottest new games at the Manchester Comic Con.

THQ is to preview WARHAMMER 40,000: SPACE MARINE, a viscerally exciting third person actioner set in Games Workshop’s famous Warhammer 40,000 universe. Due for release on the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, SPACE MARINE puts the player in the boots of veteran warrior Captain Titus as he fights to stem the Orc hordes with his bolter and trusty chainsword.

Meanwhile, Namco will be showcasing EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: INSECT ARMAGEDDON, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 follow-up to cult shooter Earth Defense Force 2017. The sequel sees the bugs take the fight to the streets of New Detroit, pitting players against swarms of giant insects and massive robots as they engage the alien invaders in even more epic battles.

Nintendo have already announced that they will be bringing their NINTENDO UNLEASHED tour to the Manchester Comic Con on 30 July, giving visitors the chance to get up close and personal with a host of stunning 3DS games.
