Dead Space 3 Kinect Features Trailer

Dead-Space-3Ahead of its global release in the first week of February, EA and developer Visceral Games have released a new Dead Space 3 trailer that showcases the Xbox 360 version’s Kinect features.

Dead Space 3 once again has gamers playing as character Isaac Clarke against the Necromorphs, human corpses reanimated by an alien virus. Dead Space 2 saw the introduction of online modes but with Dead Space 3 multiplayer has been taken out and a new  drop-in/drop-out co-op mode added for the campaign in which the character EarthGov Sergeant John Carver is playable.  Together Clarke and Carver must explore the frozen planet of Tau Volantis and track down the secret they hope will end the Necromorph plague forever, all while overcoming avalanches, treacherous ice-climbs, and the violent wilderness. Facing deadlier evolved enemies and brutal elements, the unlikely pair must work together to save mankind from the impending apocalypse.

Regarding Kinect, using the microphone on the Kinect allows players to trade gear, heal a partner, reload a weapon, or do several other things that normally require the push of a button. Visceral Games also claim it is the first game to allow co-op Kinect commands.
