Free Mass Effect 3 DLC Coming Next Week

Great news for us Mass Effect 3 fans. If you’ve completed the game and are loving the multiplayer then this will be  right up your street. BioWare has announced that a free new multiplayer DLC for Mass Effect 3 will be available on April 10th.

Entitled the Resurgence Pack, this will offer two new maps known as Firebase Condor, which takes place on one of Palaven’s moons, and Firebase Hydra, which brings players to an abandoned quarian colony.

Its great that this is free but I d wonder if this was a planned paid for DLC but with all the ME3 ending controversy, Bioware have decided to give folks this DC for free as a sweetener. Either way it’s all good. In addition to the maps, new weapons, consumables and characters will also be unlockable via reinforcement packs in the game’s multiplayer store.

Bioware also have announced that it will address the ending controversy with another free DLC called Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut will will come out in the summer. The free DLC will add new cinematic sequences and epilogue scenes, providing more clarity for those seeking further closure to players journey. I better get playing as I still haven’t completed the game.
