Gamescom 2013: Sony Confirm PS4 Release Date & Launch Titles

PS4 boxFollowing the announcement of the PS4 earlier this year and confirmation that it would be released in 2013, we’ve all been waiting for an actual date and Sony used Gamescom to officially announce the PlayStation 4 will be released on November 15 in the US and November 29 in Europe.

The console will be available in 32 countries this holiday, Sony Computer Entertainment CEO Andrew House announced at their Gamescom conference.

Sony says 15 disc-based titles will be available between launch and the end of the year. Including digital downloads, Sony says 33 games will be ready by the end of the year. The list of retail games coming to PS4 for its launch:
