It seems the usual ‘Where am I going to find the money to buy all these games’ season is starting up once again.
I’m a sucker for anything that has the number 007 attached for it and these new trailers for the Bond games Goldeneye 007 and Bloodstone are no exception and I will no doubt be putting my hand in wallet for both of these.
The new trailer for GoldenEye 007 sees Producers David Wilson (EON) and Julian Widdows discussing the huge challenge of reimagining the classic game and bringing the whole project up-to-date for today’s audience. With comment from Art Director and Bond veteran Rob Cowper, the trio discuss their efforts to fully immerse the player into the world of James Bond. – Activision
I’m very interested in this new updated version of Goldeneye on the Wii and it’s shaping up well. Not sure how it will stack up to the original but if this is a successful could this open the door to future re-imagined game titles?
In an update to the Gamescom trailer for James Bond 007: Blood Stone, Bond is tasked by M to find a rogue defence force researcher in Istanbul and resolve the situation “by any means necessary.” Featuring the legendary voice talents of both Daniel Craig and Judi Dench, the trailer showcases the fast paced, explosive and edgy direction that the developers have taken with this title. – Activision
The trailer of Bloodstone looks slick with some nice use of a similar style used in the Casino Royale opening credits. I think reviews on the Quantum of Solace game were mixed but I enjoyed it so I’ll be giving Bloodstone a closer look as more news is released.
