Grand Theft Auto V takes top honours at VGX 2013

VGXPreviously know as the VGA’s, Spike TV’s annual games award ceremony now called VGX awards have become a staple event in the gaming calendar. This years event took place over over the past weekend in the US. Famed for the world exclusive game trailers and games announcements that have become a big part of the awards, the awards was dominated by GTA5’s 9 nominations and Game of the Year win.

Most Anticipated Game (voted on by fans): Titanfall

Best Shooter: BioShock Infinite

Best Independent Game: Gone Home

Best Action Adventure Game: Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag

Best Sports Game: NBA 2K14

Best RPG: Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch

Best Fighting Game: Injustice: Gods Among Us

Best Driving Game: Forza Motorsport 5
