New Doctor Who Game Coming to PS3 and Vita This Week

BBC Worldwide has confirmed release dates for both the PS3 and PlayStation Vita versions of Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock. The new game will be released on the PS3  via PSN this Wednesday 23rd May and there will also be a boxed retail version available in stores on Friday 25th. The PS Vita version will be released digitally on PSN on 13th  June.

The game is the first of three Doctor Who titles being released on the PlayStation, and all 3 games will also be released on PC though the dates are yet to be confirmed.

In the new game players help the Doctor and River Song as they battle against the Whovian villains: Daleks, Cybermen and Silurians, as well as The Silence, the new species created for the most recent series of the popular sci-fi show. The PS3 and PS Vita will be able to share save game files and information.

The game is being developed by Supermassive Games, the studio behind a number of PlayStation Move titles, including Start The Party and Tumble
