OnLive Will be playable at Eurogamer Expo

Eurogamer Expo, the UK’s biggest and best video games event, today confirmed a massive presence from OnLive, the revolutionary cloud gaming platform, which launches in the UK on the first day of the Eurogamer Expo.

Cloud Gaming is an evolutionary step forward allowing players to access a huge catalogue of games instantly wherever they are on PC, Mac, Tablets, HDTV via OnLive’s MicroConsole®, even through internet-ready TVs and Blu-ray players.

Steve Perlman, OnLive’s CEO and Founder, will be giving a launch address from the show with a few surprises in store for attendees. Show goers will also be able to try the service for themselves to experience how the latest games are delivered via the Cloud, and all four days will be packed with competitions and giveaways.

OnLive is also sponsoring the GamesAid charity event on Friday 23rd, and the Eurogamer Community Party on Saturday 24th September.

Rupert Loman, Managing Director of Eurogamer, said: “It is incredibly exciting to have OnLive participating in such a big way on the day the service goes live in the UK, and we’re delighted to have Steve Perlman presenting how the platform works and what it means for the future of gaming”.

This year’s Eurogamer Expo has expanded to take over London’s Earls Court One hall to accommodate the sheer volume of games available to play. Publishers already announced include EA, Sega, Konami, THQ, Bethesda, Namco Bandai, Tecmo Koei,, and Ubisoft, in addition to a massive hardware presence from Sony PlayStation, Microsoft, and headline sponsors, Alienware.
