Telltale’s president Kevin Bruner targets making a James Bond game

In a recent interview, Telltale’s president and co-founder Kevin Bruner has revealed that he would love to make a Telltale style James Bound game.In the interview with Official Xbox Magazine when he was asked what he would like to do if money and copyright was not an object, Bruner said:

“I’m a giant James Bond fan and I’m always frustrated by games that make him a mass murderer,” He’s a super-spy, and that’s a different skillset,” Bruner noted. “The films make him less of a mass murderer, and there’s not much killing in the books – more spying and intrigue.”

Although know for their games being based on existing brands and intellectual property, Bruner was also asked if Telltale would ever consider creating a game based on a totally new IP. Bruner said “I think we’re looking more at ‘Can we engage some great storytelling mind to come in and work with us on something and make it not just a game franchise, but a full-on entertainment franchise with comics or a TV show and such and build it all together at once?'” CEO Dan Connors also added. “We really see that as the next thing that’s gonna happen.”

Telltale has had huge success in the past couple of years following the release of its the Walking Dead game and currently have 5 titles in products or announced in: The Walking Dead Season 2, The Wolf Among Us, Tales From the Borderlands, and Game of Thrones.
