The Razor Edge Gaming Tablet Now Available

razer-edgeHaving first showcased it at CES 2012, Razer once again showed off its 10.1-inch Razer Edge gaming tablet that they are referring to as the world’s most powerful tablet and now it is available to buy.

Running the full Windows 8 OS and not Windows RT, the Razer Edge can download games using services such as Steam or Origin.

A wide range of accessories will also be available including a keyboard dock, console style gaming pads and a plastic chassis that adds a pair of PS Move style controllers either side of the screen, complete with dual thumbsticks, action and shoulder buttons. Through the HMI connector the Edge can be connected to a TV for larger screen gaming.

The Razor Edge is available from Razor online at http://www.razerzone.com/store/gaming-systems  with prices starting at $999 for the entry level tablet and  $1299 for the Pro model. There will also be bundle that included the game pad case for $1499. No European release date has been confirmed but it is expected to hit our shored later this year.
