Ubisoft Reveals Assassins Creed III

Ubisoft have revealed the next instalment in the Assassins Creed franchise. According to Game Informer, Assassin’s Creed 3’s set to star a half English, half Native American protagonist, Connor in New York and Boston during the American revolution between 1753 and 1783. The new hero has an English father and Native American mother. During AC 3’s opening players will experience Conner’s childhood on the American frontier as he’s raised by the Mowhawk.

So far players will get to use three new weapons over those that appeared in Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Revelations. A Native American axe, a pistol and Native American bow and arrow. Ubisoft has described the game as the largest project in the company’s history. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal in collaboration with six other first party studios, it has been in the works for over three years with twice the production capacity of any previous title from the publisher.

Assassins Creed III is set to be released on 31 October on PC, Xbox 360, Nintendo WiiU and Sony PlayStation 3
