Warner Bros Registers 15 Batman Domain Names

2166dda142f23e797be655d484f57593In a move similar to what it did before the reveal of Batman Arkham City, its seems like Warner Bros may have registered 15 new domain names with various reference that give hints to what the next Batman game may  be called.

The new domain names hints at several possible game titles and the word Universe features in 4 of them. This suggest that we may see an even larger game world as the the previous game grew in size over the original Arkham Asylum.  It should be be noted that it’s not known if it is Warner Bros. that have registered these domains or if they are for a game, film or other properties, but it is identical to what was done for Arkham City making it more than likely. When Warner Bros registered several domain names for Arkham City,  Arkham City was on of the registered names so gamers can be confident that the name of the next Batman game is definitely shown below.

In July 2012 it was reported that the next Batman game that  Rocksteady Studios’ was working on will be a prequel set in the Silver Age of DC comics from the 1950s and would feature Batman’s first encounter with the Joker. No further evidence of this has emerged so it is still a guessing game what the next Batman game will be about.

The registered domains are:

arkhamuniverse.com (Arkham Universe)
batmanarkahmuniverse.com (Batman Arkham Universe)
batmanarkhamarises.com (Batman Arkham Arises)
batmanarkhambegins.com (Batman Arkham Begins)
