Habitat: A Thousand Generations in Orbit Gains Steam Workshop Support

Weaponized space debris game Habitat: A Thousand Generations in Orbit now supports user-generated content via Steam Workshop. The new Steam Workshop integration will allow players to easily import new space junk via the easy to use in-game browser. Creators will also enjoy an easy-to-use in-game editing interface that will allow the importing of FBX models (a common format outputted by many 3D modeling programs), and give various options for tinkering with object properties such as collision volumes and weld points.

If that wasn’t enough, Habitat: A Thousand Generations in Orbit is currently 40% off on Steam this week. Habitat is still in the Steam Early Access section which means that it is undergoing constant development. As a consequence, new features and bug fixes are currently coming every month or so, adding new junk to play with and other game tweaks.
