MAX: The Curse of Brootherhood coming to PC and XBOX 360

Fans of the humble platforming video game might want to keep an eye out on the XBOX Live store and Steam in April. I’ve not played platformers for a long time, but recently I played through Max: The Curse of Brotherhood on the XBOX One. For those interested, I reviewed the game with out boss man on The Next Level and also in Issue 9 of Geek Syndicate Magazine.

The game looked stunning on the XBOX One – like a Dreamworks  movie and the gimmick of using a marker pen to create specific objects to help you progress works well on the whole. Here’s the blurb:

Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is a story-driven adventure filled with action-packed platforming and creative puzzle-solving. Armed with only a Magic Marker, Max must confront evil at every turn in a hostile and fantastical world in order to save his kid brother, Felix. With five magical powers and twenty levels set in seven unique worlds, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood is an adventure for players of all ages.

Max The Curse of BrotherhoodThe game will be priced at £11.99 on both platforms which I think is blooming reasonable. The game has humour that works, some great “Indiana Jones” style moments and puzzles that aren’t too complex.
