Ryse: Son of Rome Bludgeons Onto PC 10th October

PC gamers have finally been invited to the brutal world of Crytek’s Ryse: Son of Rome. With an RRP of £34.99 and a release date of 10th October, gamers who enjoy Rome based games with a good dose of grizzly combat won’t have long to wait until they can get their hands on it.

The game will be available to pre-order on Steam and at other retailers. Pre-orders will receive an exclusive digital copy of the game’s multi-award nominated  soundtrack.

If you get excited by the number of pixels your games push, you might also be interested in the fact the Ryse supports the slowly emerging 4K resolution. If your PC can handle it of course. The minimum and recommended specs are below:

    • Processor: Intel Dual-Core 2.8 GHz/ AMD Dual-Core 3.2 GHz or better

Personally, I am very pleased to see Ryse: Son of Rome come to PC. It is one of the few next-gen console games that genuinely made me want to buy an Xbox One. Now it seems I won’t have to. That aside, it appeals to the bloodthirsty side of me that just wants to hack and slash for a while.
