Support Ginx TV’s Elder Scrolls Online Charity Marathon

Gaming channel Ginx (Virgin Media channel 286 – check it out as there’s some great gaming progamming there) are raising money for charity today by playing an epic twenty-four hour marathon of The Elder Scrolls Online, which sees release today.

The team began at one minute after midnight last night and will continue through to midnight tonight. You can watch their progress and donate tot the causes over at twitch. There are two charities that the team are supporting:

Special Effect Charity

SpecialEffect are raising the quality of life for people with disabilities by helping them to benefit from the fun and inclusion of video games and creative technologies.

Games Aid Charity

GamesAid is a new UK video games industry based charity. It distributes funds to a diverse range of charities; it is a means of giving something back on behalf of the industry. GamesAid acts as a broker of charitable activity on behalf of the industry, taking advice from all sectors. It is a non trading body. The charity is administered by Trustees, who operate on a fixed term basis. It is formally run by a chairman, who is also on a fixed term. GamesAid is a children and young people’s charity.

I think both are worthy causes – so why not support them?
