13 Steam Machines announced at CES

Video games had a strong presence at this years CES event with major announcements from many big names such as Sony, Nvidia, AMD and Oculus Rift. One of the biggest announcements was the unveiling of 13 Steam Machines from a wide range of manufacturers including  gaming PC specialist Alienware.

Valve announced their SteamOS software and Steam Machine initiative back in September last year and the SteamOS was made available to the public in December. This week several Steam Machines; their specs and prices we announced at CES. Alienware who’s machine is pictured below did not reveal actual specs but the number of machines unveiled shows that manufacturers have fully jumped on-boards Valves plans to bring PC gaming to the living room. Steam Machines will go on sale later this year.
