Advert Break – Clash Of The Titans – Out On DVD and Blu-ray 26th July 2010

I loved the trailers for Clash of the Titans despite being against remaking this film. I’m still of the school of thought that there’s a lot of great fantasy stories out there to be told rather than just remaking stuff.  The strange thing was as time passed I was worn over by the trailers and then promptly never got a chance to see the film. I then started hearing from mates who had seen the film and were far from impressed with the 3D aspect of the film and more.

I still plan on checking out the film on Blu-Ray as I make my own mind up about these things.

In the meantime here’s the blurb on the DVD and Blu-ray release.

Available on Blu-ray, DVD, On Demand and Digital Download on 26 July 2010

“Jaw-dropping effects and memorable set pieces keep the action coming thick and fast.” HEAT

“Clash of the Titans is a full-blown fantasy action flick that is a feast of stunning special effects” SUNDAY MIRROR

However, it’s the war between the gods themselves that could destroy the world.  Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Fiennes), the vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.
