Batman Arkham Knight Becomes Latest Game To Be Delayed To 2015

Game delays seem to be a week occurrence at the moment and now Warner Bros. have confirmed that Batman Arkham Knight has been delayed until the beginning of 2015, making it the latest in a string of high profile next gen games announced for 2014 release to be delayed.

Rocksteady’s highly anticipated 3rd game in their Batman trilogy (Batman Origins was developed by Warner Bros Ga,mes Montreal) was schedule to be released on the Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4 in the autumn and is billed as the “explosive finale” to the Rocksteady trilogy.

Mark Ward of Warner Bros Games said the decision to “extend the development of the game” was taken “to ensure that the trilogy gets the epic conclusion that Batman fans want and deserve”. Ward added that Batman: Arkham Knight is the “most ambitious title Rocksteady has ever created”.

Other recently announced delayed games include The Division, Dying Light, Mad Max, Quantum Break and The Order: 1886.
