Developer Treyarch has officially revealed details about Call of Duty: Black Ops III and also released the first trailer for the game. Its story is set in the aftermath of Black Ops 2’s 21st century cold war, in a future where soldiers are heavily augmented with cybernetic limbs.
The game will feature four-player co-op throughout its campaign, while its multiplayer introduces wall-running as part of a new movement system. Players will be able to join any level of the game in order to play alongside their friends.
In Black Ops III multiplayer you no longer play as regular soldiers but instead, you pick from a list of specialist who has a unique weapons and powers. There will beta on PS4, Xbox One, and PC which will be accessible to those that pre-order the game.
As with the last several Call of Duty Games, a Zombies mode will be included this time with its own XP-based progression system. No further details on the mode was revealed.
The game will be released on Friday 6th November on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. No details were confirmed on if the game will be released on last gen consoles and the Wii U.
