Catch Up on Spartacus: War of the Damned Tonight

SpartacusWOtDSadly, there won’t be a new episode of Spartacus: War of the Damned tonight. However, Starz is giving us the next best thing.

If you haven’t had a chance yet to catch up on the last season of the hit show, Starz will be airing a mini-marathon of the first three episodes tonight starting at 9:00p.m. Go behind the cut for a quick synopsis of each episode. Go on, tune in. You’ll thank me!

Episode 301 – “Enemies of Rome”

Join up with Spartacus and his army (now 30K strong) as they gain momentum, winning key battles against their Roman foes. In desperation, the powers that be are forced to turn to a wealthy citizen for help. Simon Merrells makes his debut as Marcus Crassus in this great opening episode. Episode 302 – “Wolves At the Gate”

Having a large army has its drawbacks – lots of mouths to feed, for one – so Spartacus sets his sights on finding someplace large enough to house and feed them all. Meanwhile, Crassus reveals his secret weapon in the war against Spartacus: a young soldier by the name of Caesar. Todd Lasance joins the cast as Gaius Julius Caesar. Episode 303 – “Men of Honor”

To make sure his people are provided for, Spartacus has to deal with some less than savory characters. Tiberius, the son of Marcus Crassus, is desperate to prove himself to his men and makes a decision that could have dire consequences for all.
