Channel 4 Gets a Xbox Live Ban

A video game that was commissioned by Channel 4 for release on Xbox Live has been banned by Microsoft after they said it was too sexual in nature.

The sex education title “Privates” Produced byZombie Cow’s, which takes a look at the body’s genitals, was created in conjunction with Channel 4’s Education Department to teach young people on the dangers of sexually transmitted diseases.

Head of Zombie Cow Studios Dan Marshall said:

“Ultimately Microsoft advised that the game wouldn’t pass the Indie Games Peer Review process, purely due to its inherently sexual nature.”

It seems someone at Microsoft missed the point! surely if the game has actual educational usage then they should make a exception. I doubt this game was gratuitous. But this is the company that banned a kid from Fort Gay in America because of the word Gay in his address!
