“Deadlight” Comes to Steam This Month

From Tequila Works, XBLA hit “Deadlight” is coming to the PC! This is a side-scrolling platformer with a strong emphasis on its storyline, set in a version of 1980’s Seattle where the dead have come back to life. As they are wont to.  The PC version features improved graphics and a new “Nightmare” level of difficulty.

The Deadlight team have also been releasing a series of Developer Diaries to give people an insight on how the game was created, and the latest one has been released today.

Zombie games are all the rage these days, but Deadlight remains a distinctive and interesting game, and it’s nice to see it ported across to the PC.

Set In an apocalyptic world in 1986 on the US Pacific Coast, Deadlight is a narrative driven experience. Randall, our hero, is alone, introverted and slightly paranoid. His enemies are hordes of the undead and they react as a swarm to the player’s presence. They are a threat alone, deadly in groups. Your priority is in dividing their packs. But be careful, the environment is a character itself; there are deadly traps and a misstep means death.
