Designing 007 – 50 Years of Bond!

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of James Bond, the Barbican Centre in London is proud to present an exhibit showcasing the many years of the world’s greatest agent.

Fans will be fascinated by this grand exhibit, as more than 400 items from the Bond films are on display, such as Mr Scaramanga’s Golden Gun and the famous 1964 Aston Martin DB5, which famously returned in the much-loved Goldeneye.

Along with these treasures are Jaws fearsome teeth, Daniel Craig’s tiny blue trunks and the iconic white bikini worn by quintessential Bond girl, Ursula Andress.

Memorable vehicles and gadgets are also on display, as visitors will be able to view Pierce Brosnan’s BMW motorbike from Tomorrow Never DiesFrom Russia With Love’s attaché case and of course that magical state-of-the-art Ericsson mobile phone from Tomorrow Never Dies.

This exhibit comes at a great time for Bond fans, who will be able to get their fix of the agent before his next movie Skyfall, in cinemas later this year.

The secret service will be explored, along with the tailoring, the villains and production of Bond’s extensive 23 film history.

Guests at the Barbican Centre can also enjoy a wide selection of James Bond drinks and canapés, including duck pancakes with lime and sweet chili, smoked salmon blinis and of course the legendary Martini – shaken, not stirred.

Designing 007 – 50 Years of Bond, will be running at the Barbican Centre until September 5th and standard admission costs £12.

Tickets are available at barbican.org.uk/bond, advanced booking is advised.
