‘Destination Star Trek London 2012’: The UK’s Biggest Lineup In Over A Decade!

Actors, writers, producers and directors from all five of the Trek TV franchise shows will be appearing at the ‘Destination Star Trek‘ event which takes place on October 19th – 21st at the Excel Exhibition centre in the Docklands area of London.

Guest from the ‘Original Series’, and ‘The Next Generation’, and ‘Voyager’, and ‘Deep Space Nine’, ‘Enterprise’, as well as guest stars from most of the franchise films are attending the three-day Trek extravaganza.

As well as guest signings, talks, photo opportunities and two themed evening parties, there will be two grand opening ceremonies  – one requires pre-booking, the other is free as long as tickets are available for it. There will also be a full size Operations Bridge replica of the original Enterprise (with photo opportunities), Klingon workshops, daily costume/cosplay parades, and a unique star Trek museum display.

Headline guests include:

Sean Kenney (Captain Pike) and Tricia O’Neil (Captain Garrett) will join fellow Captains William Shatner (Captain Kirk – Star Trek: The Original Series), the UK’s Sir Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard – Star Trek: The Next Generation), Avery Brooks (Captain Sisko – Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway – Star Trek: Voyager) and Scott Bakula (Captain Archer – Star Trek: Enterprise), to form the largest gathering of Star Trek Captains at any event in the UK ever! Also in attendance will be – Rene Auberjonois, Nana Visitor, JG Hertzler, Robert O’Reilly, Gwyneth Walsh, Tricia O’Neil, Sean Kenney, Walter Koenig, Arlene Martel, Connor Trinneer, Dominic Keating, Chase Masterson, Robin Curtis, Jeffrey Combs, Casey Biggs, John de Lancie, Denise Crosby, Martha Hackett, Marc Alaimo, Alice Krige, Eddie Paskey and Manu Intiraymi.

Additional guests:  Andrew Robinson who played Elim Garak in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine; Marianna Hill (Dr Helen Noel) who appeared in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode, “Dagger of the Mind”; Bobby Clark who played the Gorn in the Star Trek classic “The Arena”,”Gunsmoke”; David Warner an English actor who has appeared in two Star Trek movies and a two-part episode ofStar Trek: The Next Generation as Chancellor Gorkon; Carolyn Seymour, Commander Toreth in Star Trek: The Next Generation; as well a much loved Star Trek actor, having made over 281 appearances as Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,Michael Dorn. Also Cirroc Lofton who played Jake Sisko, the son of Captain Benjamin Sisko, the youngest regular cast member of  the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine series, and Daniel Stewart, who played Batai, the son of Captain Picard in the alternate reality episode “The Inner Light” and is the real-life son of Patrick Stewart.

The two exclusive themed parties are scheduled for the Friday and Saturday nights, within the ExCeL with entertainment  centre . Friday 19th October, will see the The Klingon Monster Ball.  Featuring live music with JG Hertzler and Robert O’Reilly, blood wine and a host of Klingons to celebrate the first day of the event.

Saturday night’s party will mark the 25th Anniversary of Star Trek: The Next Generation in association with SFX Magazine.  The party will feature Chase Masterson (Bajoran Dabo Leeta – Star Trek: Deep Space Nine), Dominic Keating (Reed, Enterprise) and more!
